Simon Prêcheur Llarena has always been passionate about science, engineering, and music. Most of all, he loves creation, as a common factor among all these fields.
He made the choice to study an engineering carrer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, in the field of robotics, and now Space engineering.
Yet, he have always been pursuing a musical carrer at the same time, and is planning to give music composition his full time after graduation. So naturally, the link between astronomy and music always was of great interest to him.
He had the chance to meet astrophysicist and enthusiast pianist and singer Laurent Eyer at the university choir, whose encounter led to the birth of the project he will be presenting today
His workshop title is "What is the sound of the planets?"
